is it just me or is that guy CJ a right smug smarmy git.......he's forever rolling his eyes and sighing anytime someone gets a question wrong and he always giving that ol'granny a hard time.

Oh that Daphne is an evil aul wan! She might smile at the opposition but behind that is a steely determination to DESTROY the challengers. Every time.

And yes, CJ is an asshole, but he makes the show with his hilarious eye rolls and head in hands when someone doesn't know a member of the Sugababes. He forgets all this when he gets his own questions wrong. Regularly.

Kevin is a robot, Chris is a tramp and Judith is the posh bird who knows very little about anything despite her Millionaire win.

They also have a new evil one now called Barry from Leeds and I think he is lacking in social skills. Behind his smile, as far as I can see, is a desire to eviscerate the opposition.

He's very smug when he knows the answers, which is extremely annoying. But he's also quite self-deprecating and will make fun of himself if he doesn't know the answer, which redeems him somewhat. Chris is really smug too.
I hate that new guy, Barry. He has such a creepy smile! :eek:

I think they rotate Eggheads now since the new guy came in - 5 out of 6 will be in each episode, with one missing.
If I was a contestant, I'd love to be there when Kevin was missing - your chances of winning would increase massively.

Only ever saw this show once, and swore I'd never watch it again. The eggheads are all insufferably smarmy in the way they take ages to justify their answer just so they can show off how clever they are when they know it all along.

CJ stands for Cock Jockey. I thought everyone knew this.

Kevin is a legend. On one occasion it was him versus five of the other team and he beat them single-handedly. He's the ultimate android.

They're made flesh out their answers in fairness to them, there's only 30 questions in the half hour show (not including tie breakers).

Daphne is my favourite Egghead by far, she looks like such an old dear but she is sharp as a tack, she knows an amazing amount about sport. I am in total awe of her.

I dislike Judith the most, she doesn't seem to care about learning any more than she currently know and is easily beaten because her weak points are obvious.

CJ is a close second, he does the thing I hate when on a quiz team, if the question is about a film he just says "haven't seen it" and doesn't even try. The amount of stuff you can know about a film that you haven't seen, but he's straight in with the excuses. Also, getting most of your information about the world via The Simpsons can't be healthy.

Jeremy, the new host (and an English version of Dermot, the old host), seems to hate CJ. And I approve of that. He regularly has a go at him about losing rounds, his lack of knowledge of certain subjects and his hair. The only thing he doesn't comment on is his selection of particularly garish shirts which make Daphne's granny blouses seemsubtle.

She's nearly always picked for Sport, because she's rubbish at it.
Judith is probably my favourite though because I like the way Murnaghan/Vine and (sometimes) the other Eggheads take the piss out of her for being posh. And she usually takes their insults pretty well.

I cannot stand egg-heads. CJ is pretty annoying all right but i think Daphne is the most smug thing going. She loves knowing the answer when someone gets it wrong.

Are the egg heads told to act like that do you think or is it really natural? Judith is proberly the least irritating proberly because she gets the most wrong.

I like the eggheads. They are told to a certain degree to act like that i think. Its a bit of entertainment at 6 watching them be all smarmy and the other team fighting for everything. Also their faces when they haven't a clue of an answer are priceless!
