Replacing Dvd Drive

I'm going to replace my dvd drive. Want to know if you have to uninstall the old drivers before replacing the drive, and do OEM drives come with drivers, or do I have to get them of the manufacturers website.

You shouldn't have to do anything with drivers. It should 'just work' assuming you have the necessary CD-/DVD-burning software.
