New public holidays

    With religion becoming more and more unpopular and holy days becoming less likely to be public holidays I was wondering if people would like to suggest themes for other public holidays that the government could sanction. Secular days for people to take off for some specific reason.

    1.) No strings attached Day : on this particular day anyone in a committed relationship can sleep with someon else no strings.

    2.) UnPC day : that miority who's been bugging you but you can't retaliate with abusive language as it will cause offence and possibly get you in trouble this day allows everyone to vent their bigotry unchallenged.

    Midsummers night.

    everyone goes to the beach and has a big party till the sun comes up.


    I think another "go into town and drink" day (like paddys day) would also be good.

    Wednes-day: see above
    Thurs-day: see above
    Fri-day: see above

    Go Marching Day.

    Tourettes Day.

    And so on.

    Sleep-in day - A day where you can sleep in for work and your boss can't give out to you.

    Hurry the fúck up day - On this wonderful day if someone spends more than 15 seconds at the atm machine then you can punch them in the back of the head and face no reprecussions.
