Nightshift will go on air for the last time on the 31st of December 2008 for a new year special.

It is a pity that this alternative show has been axed.

Did I want Popcorn, I was always dissappointed by it, but far better then Xpose which really replaced the 6:30 news. :(

TV3 are nipping and tucked everything, tho I do think the channel has improved.
Wonder will they get Channel 6 to position 106 on the SKY epg?

They are rebranding the channel. And sky put Sky1 on 106, so they won't get that slot. They may not even get 105.

    why?

C6 is pretty much a Sky1 competitor, Sky only put five at 105 in the UK because it has to under the law.

Well considering that only three people watched Nightshift it can be understood why it's gotten the chop.

Must be why they are rebranding C6 :)

Popscene must get 4 viewers :)

Is Channel 6 just getting a new logo/look or is it being re-named?

Not sure it just says : -
A representative for TV3 told the Herald: "We'll be taking over Channel 6 in early 2009 and we are expecting a number of changes.

"Obviously we're looking at the programming schedule at the moment and we're trying to work out how best to integrate both stations.

"We'll be doing a complete re-branding early in the new year but to date I can't make any comment on what programmes are to go or stay," said the rep.

    From the Evening Herald

Well surely popscene wuill have to go!! it's just so amatuerish!!!

But it will be interesting in what they will put on Channel 6.
Like Xpose repeats will deffo be on, and i wouldn't be surprised if they changed the channel name. maybe they need to do a Irish version of 'Dave'?

We may need to start merging some of these channel 6 threads.

Why is eveyone reading the Daily Mail?

TV3 will start showing Friends at 6:30 as part of this on going merger of the channels.

Emmerdale will have an omnibus edition each saturday on both TV3 and C6. C6 will repeat Emmerdale at 6 each week night and Expose at 6:30 straight after TV3 edition.

I beleive that they call this choice.
