    Had a quick bash on Heavenly Sword and Resistance 2 and... I'm blown away!! Can't wait to get it connected up to my Samsung 22" monitor for the proper experience.

    PS3 might be getting a hammering by the XBox360 in the states at the moment, but I reckon for the long term it will come out on top.

    Also, anybody here play Resistance 2 online? I've heard some great things about it.

    im not a fan boy at all

    but the 360 had like a 1yr head start

    and one the programmers get use to programming the ps3
    it will catch up with the 360

    Yes, I think it was used as the lead platform for Mirrors Edge and a few more recent games.

    It's destroying the Xbox in Japan, but in the states Xbox is king ever since the price drop:

    But who cares, PS3 is the best console without a doubt, and I don't want to buy something when I know it's going to break (red rings anyone?).

    Is resistance 2 really that good? I keep hearing things about it.

    What about Heavenly sword, worth picking up? Wouldn't be that expensive.

    also heavenly sword is well worth the €20 youll pay for it new if youre into hack and slash games. its super fun

    i must actually go back playing it and finish it up

    PS3 and 360 are both excellent machines

    Both are far from perfect but have their own unique appeal

    Both have a range of broad and niche games to appeal to specific tastes

    I know its a lot of money and you rightly feel the need to justify your purchase, but I love both!

    Oh, and enjoy; I particularly liked Heavenly Sword

    Resistance 2 is a must buy!! Incredible game, and great online modes. Check the gamespot review.

    I'm really loving Heavenly Sword, it's beautifully done and has a real cinematic feel - like stepping into LOtR... also feels like a modern day Golden Axe (seeing as beast rider wasn't so good)

    Res2 is pretty good.

    Heavenly Sword if you can rent it or borrow do, buying is iffy, its a beautiful looking game with some nice touches, but very short. You'll play it 2 maybe 3 times and won't go near it after that.
