Cheltenham Weekend

Boylesports meeting coming up this weekend. Had a look at the cards, and those that stand out are.

Friday 3m 7f Cross Country- A New Story

    Saturday- Boylesports Gold Cup- Silverburn

I really think Silverburn may have either beaten Imperial Commander or at least got really close if for not making a bad mistake two out. This time out is 13lb better off with Imperial Commander. Also should have Ruby riding as he has been declared fit for friday.

11-2 Currently which i think is massive.

Boylesports International Hurdle, my pick would be Katchit, not giving the same weight away as previous runs, and back to Cheltenham where it always runs well.

Silverburn is a total dodgepot pig imo. Imperial Commander looks to have a very good chance of following up i think, still very unexposed.

Im loading on Binocular at 6/4, if things go the way i think they will he'll barely be that price for the Champion Hurdle come Saturday evening.

Im on at 13/8. He's going to piss it, and will be less than 2/1 for the big day in March after Saturday.

Apparently, Boyles opened him at 9/4 (according to themselves). I would imagine they laid 50cent before hockeying him in to what everyone else had him at.

Silverburn looked booked for 4th at best, would have been a mile behind Imperial Commander and Barbers Shop

I think Imperial Commander has an outstanding chance of following up. I went into Celtic last Friday to take a chunk of their advertised 4/1 but it wasn't on text and the girl behind the counter was a complete dope and hadn't a clue what i was talking about when I asked her if it was still available. Bottom line is, didn't get on!

Horse didnt even look fully wound up before the Paddy Power and put up a great performance. Barbers shop has since franked the form.

Anyone give fingeronthepulse a chance on Saturday?

Barbershop and Possol have franked the Jewson, and his ass kanding by Noland was made look a little better by Noland winning the JD.

Silverburn was still hard on the bridle, coming to the 2nd last. Surely wouldnt have been a mile behind. I agree Barbers Shop has franked the form but i think Imperial Commander was one of the best handicapped horses around but his huge weight rise is too much

I'll be on Harchi in the international. He might prove second best to Binocular even at his best but i expect with good ground he's a lot better than 16 to 1.

Binocular may be very good indeed, but he is currently ridiculously priced and overhyped for the champion.

Having said that we have a horse that won a Fred Winter off a nice racing weight, that has got beaten at Ascot last time and he is 3/1 for the race on Saturday and short in the Champion.

This game and ante post betting amazes me sometimes.

Silverburn will not get near Imperial commander. He was being niggled when he made the mistake and barbers shop was travelling best going to the second last but when paddy b gave the commander a slap and kick in the belly he took off and won way too nicely to be opposed this saturday especially not by Silverburn.
    Get on now.
As for the hurdle race it may not be as we see it.Binocular may well prefer a speed track on better ground. I fancy crack away jack to really put it up to him and at the price i`m layin binocular. Sure he was just pipped by CCB at the festival but was travelling like a good thing turnin for home but got collared late on the hill but set the record straight in aintree on a flat speed track.

Silverburn can't win he is useless and overhyped he will never come up the hill.In the hurdle Crack away jack will be very hard to beat he was still going well at ascot when he made bad mistake.Back over 2 miles i think he is a cert.Binocular only won an egg and spoon race the last day watch out for River Liane e/w if it runs.Character building on friday looks to good to miss lump on!

McCoy is on Onthepulse on saturday, id like to think he'll ride the perfect race, defo has what it takes to win, I'd quite fancy that, even if Ruby is back for first time...

For tomorrow my two short price fancies are Ballyfitz and Mahonia, can't see anything in either races with any form comparable to either. Both under evens at the moment though.

In the Boylesports on saturday I just think on a line through the form through barbershop it should be close between Imperial Commander and Fingeronthepulse but I just slightly fancy Imperial Commander(might split my bet between them though).

Nice contribution as usual Bluetonic, you have continiously come on here and bemoaned the quality of posting and rediculed posters but yet you offer nothing of substance yourself, why dont you just take a hike and do everyone a favour :mad:

i'm going to have a small E/W punt Three Mirrors @ 12's, i had imperial commander backed the last day but 15/8 is a little short for my liking, three mirrors was 5th in the paddypower the last day and is 13lb better of against imperial commander but it could do with a bit of sunshine to dry out the ground

Binocular has it all to do and I wouldnt be so keen. This will be a real test to see how he'll fit into the champion hurdle. I dont think he's up to that standard yet but is bound to improve from tomorrow to march. I expect Katchit to show Binocular and crack away jack that they've alot to find.
