    Hey up!
Our Mira elite shower (Which we just replaced about 8mths ago at quite expense)
Runs fine for a few mins then the hot water cuts of instantly.
    Straight to pure cold.
Hafta switch it off for few min, stand there freezzing with soap in my eyes.
I switch it on again i get a coupla more mins of hot water before it happens again.
If i put the temp to llow ukewarm it behaves for longer.
Ive searched the boards and downloaded the manual.
    Maybe the thermal switch?
I doubt if i could fix that myself - looks complicated.
    Any advice/help appreciated
    Michael

is it connected to the mains water?

If so, I find if the cold tap is turned on in the kitchen or the tank in the attic is filling, it takes water from the shower at the same time and causes this

    Thanks Lex
Not sure how its hooked up but its been working fine for about 6mths.
And its not someone turning on a tap, it happens quite predictably after a few mins of showering, even when there's no one elese at home.

heating element could be dodgy. if its only 8 months old still under warranty call the service number in manual.
