Wii component cables, is the 480p max?

    My mate wants a component cable, and audio too. I have looked on dealextreme and saw these

    his audio is on a home cinema so needs extra length. Many seem attached up near the end, I see this one though.

    It looks like I could cut the plastic connection but and pull the wires apart to separate them. But it looks like it has no shielding, dunno it that will make much difference.

    One comment says
    this is the only cable supporting 480p mode
    Is there better cables that will support higher resolutions?

    The better cables look shielded but hard to separate. I suppose I could get some cheapo phono cables and cut the wires & join them, I know audio is less important than the video.

    IIRC 480P/I is the best the Wii can output.
