God I get soooooo bored on my trainer so I have finally decided to invest in a set of rollers after a lot of deliberation. Which ones to buy I'm not sure, so i'm surfing as we speak [type-see multi-tasking is easy!]

What advice have you guys on using the rollers? To be honest if you listen to some of the stories i have heard , they are practically impossible. Are they really that bad?

I bought a set two weeks ago. They take about 5 minutes to get used to.

Bored on the trainer? Surely you jest! :)

Check out the ones for sale on CRC. I would get a set but I don't think I would stay up long.

Had a brief go on rollers last week, takes a few minutes to get used to, as, I've never tried a turbo trainer before, I can't really comment too much, But I would imagine rollers are less boring, as you have to concentrate on your balance and pedalling technique.you can get some with resistence, like a turbo trainer.
The ideal thing is to have both:D;)

I've tried to use them twice so far and can't do it!
I think once you get the hang of them though they can be very beneficial.

I borrowed a mates pair of rollers to try out, way better than a trainer. Fairly easy to use (providing I don't leave the doorway!) The time goes a lot quicker and I think its a much better workout. At least my bike computer works and there's less wear on the rear tyre. Right i'm going to order a pair and sell my trainer.

    Sgnal rabbit.
I have a set of rollers sitting in my attic. If you want them let me know. They are missing the cable but I would be pretty sure you can buy it seperate. They are a good few years old and havent been used in a while.
Personally i hated the things BUT I found it improved my balance no end and you have to keep your concentration every second otherwise it is the strange feeling of slipping off a moving bike onto a stationary floor.
    Nyway let me know

I actually thought it looked a bit like you alright. You need to do more hair flicking when on the bike now.
