Penalty point notification via post

    Anybody know if penalty point notification letters in the post have to be registered to prove delivery?

    They're not sent registered, meaning they do have no proof of delivery...

    What is sent by registered post is the court summons for failing to pay your speeding fine.

    I'm not joking, it happened to me when I "forgot" to pay a speeding fine before. :D

    What has proof of delivery got to do with anything... the points are going to be added to your license whether you recieved notification of same or not...
