    Why do some people previous nicknames show up in their profile and some don't? Is it a moderator thing that their previous nicks don't show?

    It's down to whether the admins fill in the previous nick box when they change user names. Some do, some don't.

    Yes but you need to be a paid subscriber to get a name change.
