Hey all,

I already have a similar post up on the surfing forum but I figured this might be a more appropriate spot for a bit of travel advice. Basically I'm thinking of heading off to Spain or Portugal next Summer to do a bit of working and hopefully a lot of surfing. I have a rough plan in my head whereby I'd like to head over for 2 or 3 months to a coastal spot such as peniche or ereceira and get some work in a bar/hotel or a bit of lanscaping. I haven't a huge amount of interest in the non-surfing spots such as any towns on the meditteranean coast.

I'd be happy if I could get some advice from somebody who's done a similar trip as regards work possibilities, money, cost of living. Even somebody who's done the club rep/drinking holiday thing would be a help.
