I've hear people on the thread mentioning getting 10000kms from Ultremos (... thankyou Blorg ... :)) or 20000kms from Armadillo's (.. sorry Blorg .. :))

I wanted to get an opinion on what would be an average figure as I am nowhere getting close to that.

The bike came with Bontrager Select which lasted about 2200kms when I got 4 punctures in a couple of weeks and when I took them off .. they hardly had any rubber left.

Then I got Gatorskins which lasted me 4700kms without any punctures and then I got 3 in 2 weeks ... and now I am on my next pair of Gatorskins ... no punctures in 100kms ... and now I have jinxed it ... :D

Bontrager don't last quite so long in my experience, or at least more to the point they are more punctury to start with (although my ones did have good grip.) My front Ultremo got around the 10,000km but the rear was swapped I think twice in that time period after blowouts. 4,700km is a very respectable figure for a tyre I reckon.
