Further to more conversations with GHD I have now been informed that due to out of stock issues are their end. We are unlikely to receive any of the Purple GHD’s till possibly the end of the week.

This is not what we were led to believe and we are very frustrated at present with the company as we now have many customers waiting for the product.

in fairness, i replied to the email yesterday to seek clarification and was emailed back right away.
Also updated today to say purple ones came into stock and she personally checked my order and its gone to the warehouse and will be shipped today.

Excellent at keeping the customer informed and i dealt with an invididual not a generic mail box.

Ordered mine on the morning of the 10th, never heard anything, dropped them an e-mail last night to check status. Not sure if related or not but got a reply this morning:

"I am writing to inform you that the GHD Limited Edition Purple Box Set you have ordered is currently out of stock. Due to an extreme demand of this product there is a slight delay in obtaining our order. We should recieve our delivery within the next 3-4 days."

Tried the beautybay site last night. This morning I checked the order status to find it had been cancelled. Anyone else have this problem? I am waiting for a response at the moment. Worried about having this on time now.

I ordered mine on the 9th at about half 5. just sent another emailasking for confirmation that its been posted., will post back if and when i get a reply

I followed up with their customer service last night via e-mail, and got this back:

"HQhair.com are very sorry for this delay on your order. GHD have run out of stock and we are still awaiting news, regarding our next delivery from them, Maybe its best we do cancel this order as I understand it's for a Christmas gift and we would hate for you to wait and then be told its still out of stock."

Looks like I'm screwed...........

Well sent them an email back asking why they would cancel without my confirmation, and asking what is their ETA for new stock. No response all morning, and then just got a phonecall at 12 from a nice lady telling me, she did cancel my order, but she had now managed to track me down a set.

She had them on her desk, and just needed my confirmation to rebill me ! Give her my details, and she said they would be sent out today by special courier !

Wheeew........just now hope they can get here in time. :rolleyes:
