NUIG on youtube

    I found two very different videos on youtube of TV spots focusing on NUIG.
    First, from 1988, a report from RTE news, lit and deb attempt to set a record for the worlds longest debate.

    And secound, a spot from what looks to be a dutch travel show on the NUIG rugby team. Looks like it could have been filmed last spring/summer

    At least the Yellow Thing has aged better than the concourse itself! Wonder who holds the record title now?

    Not too sure who holds it now. I've asked around and I dont think anyone does know for sure.

    If anyone is interested the lit'n'deb website is here but the server is down for another 2 weeks for refurbishing. I havent set up another - too much effort for 16days.

    the rugby ones a lie! He was at a real match alright, but when the game finished they asked the other team to play a mess game for 10 minutes so they could film him playing:eek:
