it's brilliant he's playing 2 dates in ireland, and killarney and galway are great places to hold a concert. Very surprising alright dublin isn't on there, I still think he may announce a dublin date, concerts are still being added and he always does this, announce concerts in fits and starts. It'll be an eerie reminder to when The Smiths played in Leisureland in Galway all of 25 years ago when Moz plays there himself next year. Viva Moz

Yeah also surprised about the lack of a Dublin date. Haven't got tickets for any yet but I'll be definitely sorting that out nearer the time. I'm thinking of maybe travelling further afield.

if you intend going to the Galway gig you'd wanna get it sorted soon, capacity of Leisureland is 1,100. Don't think Killarney sold out last time he was there in 2006. You get tickets for any of the English shows?

Not looking likely now unfortunately, www.true-to-you.net, Morrissey's official website said there won't be one. A random poster on the main fansite www.morrissey-solo.com reported that according to a contact of theirs, Moz was in negotiation for a dublin gig and then pulled out because he was unhappy with some aspect of the deal. Whether or not that is true is doubtful.

Dublin gig or not, I still can't wait for the tour to kick off. Got my ticket for Galway, i am sure it will be a night to remember. Salthill maybe "The coastal town that they forgot to close down" :) !

Hi Dan, no I haven't got tickets for any of the shows yet. Usually I'd go and get them straight away but due to the lack of a Dublin gig I haven't this time. I'm still not sure what I'm doing to be honest. I'm going to decide nearer the time. Heading off to the Wesht mid week is something I'd have to think about nearer the time. In the meantime I'm just looking forward to the new album.

You heading to a few of the gigs? (he's not my fave artist so I don't feel the need to pounce at 9am when the tix go on sale ;) )

Yeah going to 4, Killarney, Galway and the 2 Manchester dates. Was going to go to Belfast but had to get a bit real with the finances :p should be good though, "tour of refusal" is a good name. New material sounds good too. You never know he could come to play Dublin next christmas, he loves playing christmas dates

Bit of a Moz anorak eh :p

It may have been difficult to get one for Belfast anyway as I think that sold out in about 20 minutes.

Yeah I like the sound of what I've heard so far and also eagarly waiting this Southpaw Grammar reissue (with the ripoff cover of ChangesOneBowie!)
