Help with Garmin Streetpilot C510

    Hi,
    last night I purchased City Navigator® Europe NT 2009 Map Update
    which I tried to download to my Streetpilot C510. It said there was not enough memory on my C510 etc., but now when I turn my Garmin on
    it says
    "No detailed maps found that support routing. The streetpilot cannot be used without them".

    I have tried to re-load the maps from the City Navigator NET Europe V9
    but it does not seem to be able to read my garmin because it is locked.

    The device cannot be found, even though I have it attached by USB Cable to my computer.

    Can anyone help
