Carlingford Suggestions

I've a day off tomorrow so im going to take my little D60 and head up around Carlingford for the day,probably head early (don't want to get stuck in the Shopping Mecca of Newry traffic). Anybody got any suggestions of where might be interesting to head around that area ?

Sorry I was away yesterday and only checking boards now. Its a few years since I have been up there. Hope you brought your walking boots and headed up the hills. From memory some walks are sign posted and there are a few streams. Also, Head up the Newry road towards Omeath and park. Ravensdale forest has a carpark and some nice walks. Hope you hav (had) a good day.
