New pistol this Christmas, any recommendations out of the following? Bonus points to aesthetics and blowback over power. :)

[Sorry no links to this etailer are allowed as they are banned - Gandalf]

I know most people would say not to go with the co2 pistol but I can get co2 canisters for next to nothing in bulk, so that wouldn't bother me at all so I figured it was worth considering for that. What about the KJ M92? Very interested in that, like M92s....

bought a JG Glock awhile ago and never used it, not a huge fan of Glocks really, also don't like the way most of them are abs....maybe if there was a super high quality metal/metal slide glock anyone could recommend, again, with good blowback.

All of those are just the GBB KJ pistols with Co2 mags intead,.,

id go with the Sig for most reliable/realistic but if it was me i would buy a pistol thats specifically made to be Co2 powered rather than just sticking a different mag in.,

WE do a Co2 1911 that kicks like a mule and the new G&G pistol has the most chrisp blowback ive seen yet.

Sorry I should have mentioned that the budget is max 150 and I'd also limited to buying in Ireland (laser)!

didn't realise they m92 was a kj with co2 mag, would a normal gas mag then fit or is the gun actually slightly modified to fit the co2 mag in the first place?

Sorry didn't realise links weren't allowed, basically the list was a co2/gas m92, the kj metal sig, hi cappa dragon.

No links are allowed just not to that retailer as they have been banned for repeated disruptive behaviour on the forum.

I have the KJ M9. A co2 mag came my may by accident a while back, and I was thoroughly impressed by it, while my green gas mag spat itself outwards due to the cold, the co2 fired every round and then some.

Its worth remembering that co2 doesnt suffer the usual effects of weather, and does give a stronger kick, so you need a pistol designed around co2 or a very strong pistol.

My co2 mag unfortunately has gone tits up for some reason, but it was well worth it.

However, on normal green gas, I still think my kj m9 outdoes the rest of my pistols. The only pistols ive come across with a better kick are the walter ppk and G&G co2..along with other specific co2 pistols.

But I'd pick my m9 over the sig anyday, I dont know why, but they just seem to have a bogey kick for me, however they are tremendously well made.

no the guns are identical, other than the magazine. you can use normal green gas magazines in the good too, which it was designed for really.,

Perfect. Thanks lads. I think I might get the Co2 m9 and buy a gas mag for it as well. I was slightly keen on the sig but it looks so plain...No long term problems foreseen due to the gun not being inherently designed for co2? I won't be using it every second day or anything, most likely a few mags once a week or so.

This peculiar man came into the shop, with a glowing radiant light behind him...and a choir of innocent delicate voices signing gently over him.

As he placed two co2 pistols on the desk he said to vtec and shiva

" My sons, these pistols have bee carved by my most finest gunsmiths, they combine the finest GBB accuracy with the crispest blowback along with the most efficent gas mechanism ever to be witnessed...yes we have some shoody trades but this is a co2 pistol....from the gods"

To which i replied " hey godlike dude, theres only two here, where mine?!?!?"

To which i received a smile, and a gentle hand on the shoulder, and the most heavingly graceful words were shared before he elevated and parted our company

"DOC would you ever **** off you bailer, and next time im in there better be coffee on you twat"

I Got the co2 m9 in the end. Read a few reviews, everyone said that the recoil and report were phenomenal. Another thing is that everyone said that the CO2 edition has modified internals to the regular gas one; basically that using the co2 mag in a gas gun caused a number of people to destroy their loading nozzle.

Thanks for the help, looking forward to getting this. Not paying for it so its all the sweeter. :D

Now: Anyone know about the reverse i.e using gas mags in this gun? I know they fit but I also read a few people saying that because the internals are different/reinforced, something about using excessive gas or being too strong, etc.... And where would I set about getting spare co2 mags?

+1 on the blowback on the G&G, you can feel it but you almost can't see it. Lovely pistol.
