REASONABLE RAKE - WEEKLY €5/€10 CASH GAME!!!

SEEKING €5/€10 Texas Hold'em Cash Players
We are looking to get a Regular €5/€10 Cash Game in Kilkenny One Night a week....Possibly two Nights
Because of the Recession we have no intention of setting up this game as a RAKE FEST. The purpose of this Post is to find interested parties for a Regular €5/€10 Cash Game.

What I would like to do is get a Cash Game with a Minimum €500 Buyin and Capped Buyin of €2,000. I find it difficult to find a regular game live and I am sure most of you reading this post who are interested in this game have similar problem unless there is a big festival on and the RAKE usually is horrific. That is no dig at festival runners who run big events under a lot of pressure and invest a lot of time and effort.

Instead of a % RAKE PER POT there would be an hourly Rate Per Player of €15-€20 per player depending on player numbers in the game and I would also intend on taking a percentage of that and having that put into a FREEROLL at the end of every 3 months depending on players hours of play in the game.

If anyone is interested or has any suggestions I would love to hear from you and hopefully get a good deepstack mid range cash game up and running in the new year!!!

    • What Day would suit players best?
    • Would players prefer round of Texas Hold'em/ Round of Omaha or just Texas Holddem?
    • What would your preferred Starting Time?
    • What minmum and Maximum Buyin would be preferred?
    • Any other Questions of Suggestions.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Kilkenny, Flush Casino in Partnership with Local Hotels & Guesthouses can Offer its Players Accomodation at Discounted Rates. Also Players Travelling From Outside Kilkenny will be Offer Travel Expenses.

Ah, so it's a cash game that's rake free, yet makes you up to €200 an hour?

Both very useful comments so far .... thanks....

Im afraid a casino is like any other business that has to pay staff, rent, light and heat, food, beverages....etc....so these have to be covered. Im sure you can appreciate this.

Like i said money from the players per hour rate will be put back into a FREEROLL POOL for those who play the game so i think all things considered its a very reasonable rate for the €5/€10 player.

Not posting to cause controvesy just seeking out players who wish to play a regular €5/€10 cash game in a casino with professional dealers, comfortable surroundings and most FLUSH CASINO MEMBERS will agree fun and friendly atmosphere.

    Rake (poker)

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rake is the scaled commission fee taken by a cardroom operating a poker game. It is generally 5 to 10 percent of the pot in each poker hand, up to a predetermined maximum amount, but not only can this percentage be anything, there are other non-percentage ways for a casino to take the rake.

We do not intend to take any % commission from the pots in the cash game, it pay per hour per player!! Just to clear that up Mate!

    Yes I understood all that.

    It's not rakefree.
    Just to clear that up!

Anywho, it sounds like a resonable rate for the size of the game, however the thread title leaves a bitter taste, it's wrong.
A quick edit would make it accurate.

Best of luck with the game.

You might be better not taking anything for a freeroll and charging less rake. That way you might get players that would travel on occasions.

As for advertising it as rake free doesnt make sense

there are other non-percentage ways for a casino to take the rake.

like "hourly Rate Per Player of €15-€20 per player"?

Like others have said, the thread title is misleading, best of luck with the game though

Not rake free, so no point pretending it is.

I have updated the thread title. Feel free to update it to something you feel is more appropriate, as long as it is honest.

People who play a 5/10 game generally have little to no interest in freerolls. Why don't you have no freeroll and then there'd be no reason to take any rake;).

I think its quiet reasonable for the Game alright....I have played in many of these size games up and down the country and abroad payed RAKE up to 15%.

I would like to start a Good €5/€10 Cash game have 5-6 players on board already and am looking forward to its start early in the New Year!!

    Thanks again for all feedback
