So what's people's opinion on the aul all weather racing then.?

Personally, I like Wolverhampton and Great Leighs. I find Kempton tough to get winners and at Lingfiled, it is a tight track which leads to traffic problems.

As for Southwell I find this the worst, the horses always seem they are going up and down on the same spot when I watch races there. Never back at this meeting.

I suppose as the weather gets colder more meetings will be called off and these meetings will step in to the breach. Like everything people will prefer the different tracks for there own reasons, but in general I am a fan and when it settles down you can work the form out a little better.

Hard to love the a/w if only cos as a betting medium its a pig to read. The best hope you have is back a course specialist and hope/trust that is enough to see off any poor recent form.

Isn't it crazy that Dundalk is only allowed 26 meets next year? The countrys' newest track ideally set up for the climate and yet not back online until Febuary.

Its the horses BAGS equivilant. There to keep the betting industry ticking over imo. Having said that, there is money to be made from it if you can dedicate yourself to a life of researching shoite racing.

    Not for the purist anyway.

As an aside I'd agree with Mike about Dundalk, crazy tbh. I'd also hazard a guess there'll be another AW before soon in the Republic. Possibly Tralee or thereabouts.

They won't build another one for years now with the arse after falling off the Tiger, they will doulble up on fixtures there before that.
