Converted files jerky when played on TV....

Im converting files to DVD using ConvertXtoDVD, however whenever the files are played on a TV, the picture is jerky. I notice it especially when the camera is panning across a scene. Im using Verbatim discs (which i read are one of the best to get). Anyone else experiencing this problem?
