make sure it has magicgate on the card. You can get bigger than 4gig if ya want

I have an iPod touch (on it ATM posting this) and I have a snes emulator on it, but its jailbreaked.

I have no idea about what you need, just throwing my way out there.

Don't get a card from eBay unless you're absolutely sure that what the user is selling you is genuine. In terms of card capacity it all depends on what you'll be doing with the PSP. A higher capacity is great if you plan on utilising the multimedia features of the PSP. If it's just for game saves a 2GB will do you fine.

Myself I have an 8GB and that was a bit of a waste as I don't use the PSP that much.

Did you put 8GB of data on it?

i have a 4gb card i bought on ebay for a pittance earlier in the year, and it takes the amount youd expect it to take (3.6-7 or so)

I got a fake 4GB one from ebay, it holds ~4gb of data but slower transfer speed, its fine unless you change whatever files you have on it often.

Fair enough so. You're one of the lucky ones who haven't had a bad experience with eBay and fake memory cards. :)

cheers, gonna get a genuine 8gb from a site in canada for what equates to 37 euro. better than poxy fake one. i know the fake ones will work for storage but not sure about downgrading the firmware sort of thing. i got a 4gb m2 and mem stick adapter for 15 euro just now too. good stuff.

Do not buy on ebay, don't even buy on adverts.ie (got a fake one there). Get one in a genuine retailer or from a well trusted site (for example, mymemory.co.uk).

The 4gig is plenty and usually sandisk are very good (and cheaper than official sony ones)
