    Hiya,

Ive got a guitar to abuse, Ive already gotten it taken apart, currently in the process of stripping the paint, has anyone got any ideas as to what I could turn it into?
    Just random handy things like?
Preferably not too difficult or expensive!
    Thanks

Well i guess you have to decide if the guitar is worth putting the cash into it? I mean if it's got a poor neck doesn't play particularly great, you can add all the pickups and hardware to it and still end up with a not so great guitar, however if it's something that you particularly enjoy playing, and want to upgrade it then it's probably a good bet.
Well the obvious things would be pickups, machine heads, electronics etc, What kind of music are you in to? GFS seem to be a great budget buy for pickups , i just picked up a set of lipstick tubes for a strat project of mine.

I'm doing the same thing at the mo, got a mighty might neck, a pickgaurd build from Xavaire and some nice hardware, coming along nicely but Other things have caught my eye so it sits in the corner in several pieces...

    I'll finish it some day!

I'm stripping a Strat shaped body and I'm gonna get my sister in law to paint it since she's an artist. It'll look good if nothing else. What's the best way of taking the paint off a guitar? And the best way of sealing the new paint that gets put on it?
