PSP Screen issues

    Am about to buy a PSP, are the scan line issues with the PSP 3000 severe?

    Should I look for an earlier model?

    I'm convinced it's people with blue lasers for eyes noticing minutae. A mate of mine recently bought a PSP-3000, so I compared it with my PSP-2000. The only differences I could notice were the fact that the 3000 screen was brighter and had better colour etc (playing WipeOut was amazing).

    Then again, I never really had a problem with the PSP-2000 screen, except when I was playing films or GTA, where I could really notice the ghosting. I didn't notice any ghosting on the PSP-3000.

    If you have microscope eyes, you might be better off waiting to see if Sony do anything about the screen, or go with the 2000. Better yet, take a look at the screen yourself if you can and see if you think the 'scanline issue' is a load of bull or not.

    Thanks, I couldnt see anything so I assumed it was the usual fanboy whining

    I thought it might have been a production issue with some of them, but thanks for clearing that up

    Go with the newer model if you want, theres no issues with t, except that it hasnt been hacked yet. Although the anti-screen is pretty awesome
