    Hiya

Not sure if anyone here will be able to help!
My ipod is about 2 years old and has always worked perfectly up till a few mins ago - I changed the song and the play symbol was showing on the top left corner but the song didnt play and the timer didnt move to show it was playing, now I cant get it to play anything... then it decided to have a real spaz at me and scrolled through all of the songs, it wouldnt even stop when i held down the centre button and the play button to reset it...

Is there any way of doing a total reset of everything on my ipod and reloading all my songs to see if that helps? Or has anyone any ideas?!

    Thanks in advance!

plug it into your computer, go to iTunes and hit restore to factory settings.....it'll wipe the whole thing clean and you'll have to put all your songs on again....hope that helps a bit

Thanks a million, the restore button was pretty obvious once I plugged it into itunes!

It wouldnt actually let me reset it, kept timing out but having it plugged in must have fixed it (for now anyway!) as it seems to be working fine :)

aye it seems most times an ipod fecks up plugging it in and doing the reset works even if the reset doesn't work beforehand.

ipod's they are a fimicky bunch yet i have to use one.
