Romanian Begger

Just went for a quick smoke during my break, some guy (a romanian Begger) came over to me and asked me for a cigarette, I told him I "only brought one down that my pack is on my desk, sorry" he then asked could he have the one in my hand that I was smoking, and he went to take it. I'm no way near racist but I hate the romanians over here, I've never come across one that is genuine and not begging. They shouldnt be allowed beg beside the luas, I see people been terrified of them, one day a guy was having trouble putting money in the machine (a 5 euro note for a 2.50 ticket) the romanian grabbed the fiver and put it in for him, he jsut took his ticket and left his change......just a bit of a rant sorry but they do annoy me.

Eh if I want to smoke I will, and if I do I should be able to without hassle. So your saying if you want to get on the luas you deserver to be mugged also??? Make sense would ya. FFS. If you dont smoke you wouldnt understand.

A Romanian girl is one of the cleaners in the office I work in and she is a lovely girl who, when she is not working, is applying for jobs to try and improve her pay.

There you go, that is one non begging romanian for you. She is very pretty, and a nice girl too.

Also, most of the luas scangers I have seen are Irish.

Unfortunately we already chose the mod, but we were going to go with the next person who started a thread about Romanians.

I've worked with many immigrants and they've always been good people - well educated, hard working, decent people and mostly from outside the EU.

The so called "Romanians" are Roma or Gypsies and I've heard that most of them here originate in Slovakia so they're not Romanians at all. People get confused between Roma and Romanian. The Roma are a minority within many Eastern European countries including Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and so on. Non-Gypsy Romanians must get so pissed-off with this.

But however regardless of where you are from if you come here to beg or thieve you should find yourself kicked out in short order. I cannot see why we need to take in scroungers and parasites as well as productive people.
