Yep, on TM they are €70.xx for the most expensive ones - so I'm expecting the best seats in the house for that price

You'd be block D seating. just went for standing myself.

He has played a fair bit over the last few years. Many are not too impressed either so might not return. Many will go "just to say they saw him".

People should realise it will not be a greatest hits show. You can get the setlists online always up to date. Even when playing songs you know you might not realise it until halfway through as they can be very different.

I still would have thought it would sell out since people will want to visit the new point.

I see he is listed for may 6 too here

Got my tickets this morning! Standing tickets. The last time I was in the Point I saw Dylan, and it'll most likely be my first time in the o2. Put on a great show last time, so fingers crossed he puts on another blinder.

Also just found out about the o2 Priority s**t. Not a fan of it at all.

Will he play a second date if the 1st doesn't sell out? Or is it just a case of it will sell out, but didn't happen immediately?

Very true but a good show all the same. Saw him in Cork a couple of years back. Fun time had by all I went with.

Dunno how it works TBH. I would expect they wait until it sells out and then you have the ads "playing a 2nd date due to popular demand". If they only announce 1 gig, it is likely to sell out faster, and people would accept poor seats thinking they might miss out.

I reckon most of these "extra date added" gigs knew it was booked or pencilled in long ago. It makes sense not to release both days at once if both only half sold they are screwed. And they might not even have the rumour out since people might hold out for better seats at the second gig.

I hear he can be a bit hit and miss.
A great gig or else he just mumbles for an hour.
Anyone know what stuff he will be playing new or old?

A mix usually, the setlists are all online, it is easy to predict. I did up a cd of likely songs for mates the last time. But like I said, he could be half way through your favourite song before you cop on what it is.

Got my standing tickets for both nights, he rarely plays the same set 2 nights in a row. I've seen him 10 or 12 times and think he's a genius, but that's just me! As everyone says you'll either love him or hate him. It's not a greatest hits package, but he plays a selection of tunes from all through his career so if you know your stuff you'll be grand. Not always close to the studio versions, but the live versions haven't changed much for the last 20 years so again do a bit of homework. Probably wouldn't recommend him for the casual fan or someone who just owns a Greatest Hits album. As a guy said to me after a gig in around 2000 "he was ****, playin all those new songs no-one knows...." when in reality he just played a couple off Time Out of Mind (3 years old) and the rest were 60's and 70's, although sometimes obscure ones. Go with an open mind, enjoy the experience because it's definitely unique! And one last thing, he very rarely plays guitar anymore (haven't seen him pick one up at a gig for 7 or 8 years) so don't be disappointed if he spends the whole night behind his keyboards to the side of the stage!!

My parents saw him playing a few years ago and said they didn't even know what song he was playing until halfway through he was so bad. But I saw him last summer and he was incredible. Really on point. He didn't say a thing to the audience the entire time, though. That was weird. Hopefully this will be a good show!
