Any one know what this is or where it is transmitted from.
I'm picking it up on a DTT receiver pointed at Claremont Carne (I think).

I'm in Navan And I am Receiving Analog English and Irish channels as well as the four Irish channels in Digital all on a single Ariel.

R&S Factory is comming in also, but its just a test transmission in a constant loop of about 10 seconds long. Its only using MPEG2 compression. So is it from DIVIS?

At a guess I'd say this may be a new Rohde & Scwartz transmitter that RTE NL are installing around the country for DTT. No idea though....

There is only 1 multiplex ON at the moment. Infact, the same one RTE have had on since August and the only multiplex on since August. It wasnt down, anyhow, eventhough stability will not be guaranteed until launch.

If you just have one aerial, then you're probably getting the UK channels from Kilkeel in co Down, as it's almost in the same direction from Navan as clermont carn is.

Would you be able to tell me what channel (as in frequency) you're picking up that on?

Shame about the Three rock multiplexes back, I can wave goodbye to sometimes-acceptable Camlough reception again.:)

I'm picking up English Analouge Stations
    on Channels 31 BBC1 27 BBC2 24 UTV 21 CH4

    Irish Analouge Stations on 52 RTE1 56 RTE2 66 TV3 68 TG4
Irish channels also on other frequencys with varying reception

Irish Digital Stations on 53 and 54 all four channels on both frequenceys

the MPEG2 transmission is now gone can't remeber what channel it was on but I think it was in the sixties.

I'm using a eighty element ariel mounted in the loft with mast head amp.
I just moved into a new house and only realy wanted Irish channels as I use Freesat for English channels anyway.

I was suprised to find a MPEG2 signal, even if it wasn't the most interseting content.
