    hey all, i now its a kind of lame christmas present but my mam really wants me to get her a new kettle. its so funny coz our family has very bad luck with kettles (they break in the first 6months) so im gona get her a super good one- thing is im not that sure what make to get...

    i would be delighted with any advice

    I find Kenwood's pretty reliable. Philips seem OK too.

    Morphy Richards or Russell Hobbs are hit and miss, though MR do offer 2 year warranty.

    Unfamiliar with much Tefal stuff, so can't comment much on that (apart from the unreliablitly of the onecup machine).
