How did the Turkey shoot go?

    The Annual Rathdrum Invitational Turkey Shoot

    ]is on Sunday 7th December 2008

    At the Indoor Range at Rathdrum

    If you've shot in Rathdrum in the last year, this invite is for you as a thank you for your support.


    The competition will be held over 40 shots (Entry €15) – Macrae Handicap
    This Year we will also have a 60 shot Benchrest Pistol Competition for all our Pistol Competitors

    Prizes will include Frozen Turkeys and bottles of wine - nobody leaves empty handed!
    Booking at www.rathdrumrpc.org

    Usual Rules apply – any others will be made up by the Range Committee!

    Come along and join in the fun
    Prior shooting will NOT be allowed for this event

    We invite all shooters to stay for the prize presentation and to join us for a celebratory scoop or two afterwards
    We look forward to seeing you there


    Range opens at 09:30, Rifle details from 10:00
    Pistol details from 14:00
    All should be completed by 16:00

    Well guys, how did the fun shoot go then??, sorry I couldnt make it but it was the car clubs Xmas dinner on Sat night and a hangover was called for!!:D

    Everybody won!

    Some good scores: Conor had a 392 and Tony had a 390 I think. It was Macrae handicap, so gunscore wasn't the target, beating your average was.

    We had 29 entries between the rifle and benchrest pistol and a prize for everyone. Finished up about 5pm.

    I'll put the scores up later. Forgot to bring them when I was leaving the range yesterday, but I'll have them later.
