Brand new phone, comes with a 512mb card. The card did show up for a day or 2, but then it just vanished. Anyone know what could cause/fix this.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Take the card out and put it back in, it may just be a little bit loose.

Have the same problem myself with a 2gb card. reset the phone or remove the card and put it backin usually does the trick.

Nah, tried all that guys. Would "restore factory settings" do anything? It asks for a security code to do this, where would i find that code?

Can you verify if the card shows up in a different handset ? Or your PC using a card reader ?
    Card may need formatting ...

Have you used the card in a different handset in the mean time - as i know for example, if you use a micro SD card in a Samsung handset, and then use it in a Nokia handset, it wont show up. Different manufacturers use varying file formatting.

    Cheers
