right, read the thread on "The Performance" and the way i look at it, HAM is pretty simillar. right here is their deal, it is like a BOTB, the bebo page will explain more
    1. Band entry is €50!!!
    2. Each band must bring 10 fans, and they pay €13 at the door!!! (this is not mentioned on their bebo page. If a band doesnt bring 10 fans they cant win the heat. It happened to a band we gig with a lot, they got 100 votes more than any other band (the 10 fans every band brings decides wgo wins), but they didnt bring 10 fans, so they didnt win the heat)
There will be 40-50 heats in total, according to the bebo page. Every heat has 3 guest bands which play for 20-30 mins, the son of the orgainser is in a band, they are a guest band at every gig. Wonder which band will win the competition;)

I played at one of their gigs, very poorly organised, i could go into another rant!!!

Have any of ye heard or had experience with HAM?

I was going to play a gig for him but he does all his business through bebo and I didn't like that. I was reading band's comments on his page complaining about loads of stuff. And he kept changing competition rules so I pulled out. I think he's a chancer to be honest. Bands should never have to pay to play a gig. To win the prize money the successful band have to sign a management/promotion contract with the organiser, what's that about? I'd never trust a guy who runs a business through bebo to manage a band.

It's basically just a copy of what's on bebo. He posts his full rules and terms on the site but they've been changed so often it's crazy. I have an original copy of the rules and when you look at before and after it's hilarious. I tried ringing him but he sent me texts to leave a message on bebo.

Surely this is a joke? Offering bands 32k and a trip to England? I'm actually shocked. Who does business in public over the net? bebo ffs and if you are going to do it that way, at least learn English!

And he's put his home address on Bebo for the world to see.

Aidan Walsh step aside. You've been replaced
