Animal Crossing or Mario Kart?

Santy might be bringing the Wii Console.
Any advice on which of the above to pick for two girls (6+10) ?

Does Animal crossing involve a lot of typing or texting?

If going for it would it be worth getting the Wii Speak?

Who is currently giving the best value on a bundle?

I would go with Mario Kart, its multiplayer and the girls can race against each other.

With Animal Crossing only one could play at a time so you might have some squabbling on your hands :) Its a sim game, making friends, keeping your village nice and tidy, getting all the fish/bugs/fossils for the museum etc and I wouldn't imagine that 2 young girls would get great value out of it.
