Drug called 'smoke'?

Can anyone tell me about a drug known as 'smoke'? Ive heard it being mentioned a couple of times but Im not really sure what it is.

Carlos Casteneda mentioned the "little smoke" in his books, was a mixture of Psilocybe mushrooms, sage and some other herbs.

Yeah I call cigarette's smokes too. 'Smoke' is different though, just another word for weed.

a few of my friends say they liked it when they tried but say its not the same high as weed more hallucinigenic apparently

Yep just like spice is. I worry about the mentality of somebody who picked the name "smoke" knowing that a big selling potential in on the internet, i.e. smoke going to get millions of hits. Maybe they sampled too much themselves.

Some of these herbal mixtures available here are illegal in some countries since they do contain controlled substances in other places. Just because a drug is legal does not mean it is relatively harmless, and vice versa.

It says on the pack "Warning: Not for human consumption."
I struggle to think of whatever else would be done with it TBH.

It's the same with all headshop products - Poppers are sold as 'Room Odourisers,' while BZP pills are labelled as 'Slimming Aids.' Basically it's a way to avoid incrimination if anyone's hurt while on one of their products; it's like trying to blame Domestos if you down a few shots of bleach (please excuse the extreme analogy).

To answer the OP: Smoke is like most legal highs out there in that it's similar to the real thing but with added nasty and a less enjoyabe effect. Regarding health concerns, it hasn't been researched to any degree so I can't say.

not the niceist taste in the world but reachs the desired effect, I havent smoked a spliff in 3 months and tried that the first night i was propper baked.....

for you maybe, i've smoked it quite a number of times and its grand. almost as good as weed, doesnt have a nice taste and the buzz wears off sooner. its good if you're stuck, but its not a substitute.

Could be for all I know. Some of the companies making these products don't post the ingredients, though whether this is to keep it a trade secret or for more sinister reasons I don't know.

As an aside, Zohai is the best legal smoke out there in my opinion. It comes in three strengths and even has a tolerable taste, though it's a little harsh on the lungs. Unfotunately, it's pretty pricey and again, I don't think it's as good as the real thing.

hey i know someone who was trying to get off weed and started smoking this herbal 'smoke' stuff thinking it would be better; he got it in galway head shop,its expensive and has created mental side effects! he is now addicted to it;it relaxes the muscles to a degree that its hard to get up ,creates paranoia ,constipation ,delusions and seems to have affected his speech as it creates feeling of throat closing;its horrible and should be banned ;it has affected him so bad he is now having a nervous breakdown;just because its a herb doesnt mean its good after all ;all hard drugs are first created from herbs or seed or whatever.you might think its a bit of fun but its far from it ;ive seen its effects firsthand and it is frightening...dont we eat enough crap and drink enough rubbish rather than consuming substances that we dont have a clue about;if someone asked you to take a package and put it into your bag ;you'd wanta know whats in it but yet we consume this **** without having a clue whats in it and what damages it can do to our bodies..dont try it its not worth ending up in mental hospital over...get a life instead:)

its a different strain... gives you an actual high rather then make you feel low.

It's what looks like parsley with green food colouring, dipped in cinnamon oil and a whole pile of research chemicals made by chemists in china that mimic THC. Smoking soapbar, at least camel dung has been tested on insects - the series of chemicals in smoke, spice and so on are quite literally less studied than that.

It probably has medical potential - it cured one of my friend's migraines somehow. Then again, so does camel dung.

I do the same.
ha ha years ago two of the lads I knew but didnt hang around with asked me what I done last night.
I just said I had a few cans and a few smokes. They asked me did I have much smoke I just said meh about 10 smokes was all. they started laughing at me saying they meant smoke as in hash. I was like ok and walked off with the little bit of hash I had in me pocket at the time haha. numpties.

No, dammit. The government bans substances based on isolated occurrences, anecdotal evidence and media scaremongering rather than proper research - it is a disgrace in this day and age, and it needs to stop. It will be banned not because it's proven to be dangerous but because the nanny state, backed by the ignorant public, are outraged at the idea of people getting high. I've tried it and I really don't think it would have potential for abuse, it's just not nearly as good as the real thing. Quite trippy all the same, with weird looping thought patterns that I never get with weed.

You did hit on something there though. I was informed that Smoke isn't actually herbal at all, it contains JWH-018 - a cannibinoid research chemical, the long-term effect of which are not well documented.

i think the stuff is pretty damn good.

Theres the new one out called smoke xxx. The guy in the head shop told me and the other half that half the pure prerolled joints got him sufficiently stoned. We were dubious (someone gave me a prerolled spice joint and it was ****e) but it was cheap, so we gave it a go.

seriously good. We smoke two between us, and we were ****ed up. Its a happy high too, didnt feel bad once and apart from being drained the next day, didnt feel like **** after. Also, i find with weed when i get anxious and tense up, i sobr up pretty quickly. I didn't get that with smoke xxx, just stayed good and stoned for about 3 hours.

Couldn't get my hands on any proper stuff a few months back, so started to frequent the head shop in Bray.

Tried three of them, they all seem to be a mix of blue lotus flower with various herbs.

1) Xcess: Pleasant tasting and smelling, a light stone.

2) Spice diamond: Heavier stone.

3) Smoke: Smells horrible, tastes horrible (likes cloves!), but probably the closet to the "real thing".

Tried it twice.. first time, it did absolutely nothing for me.. just like smoking a cigarette except with a harsher burn. Tried it again the other night and smoked a decent amount of it.. very strange to say the least.

Felt like massive periods of time had passed in short spaces, really wanted to play guitar or drums but was paranoid about being a headwreck by doing so. Eventually got very shakey.. not too enjoyable. Wouldn't recommend - you'd be better off with proper smoke.
