We've just moved into a house which has a Neff Electric Ceramic hob fitted.
All the buttons are touch pads on the surface rather than dials you turn.
It looks really nice but the only problem is there's no instruction booklet and we can't turn it on! The model number is T1323. A link to a picture of it is below.
Can anyone please tell us how this is supposed to turn on?
    Thanks
    John

You can download user manuals from that same site. Go to the main page, Neff Owners, Customer Services and then select Instruction Manual Download (bottom of the page) and enter the model number.

Make sure your finger is warm! - Seriously. I have a Bosch touch control hob myself and will not switch on if my pinkey is cold!

    Thanks for all the replies.
I got the instruction manual and followed the other bits of advice but it still seems not to be working. Think it's time to call the sparks out!
    Thanks to all.

Is there a master cooker switch somewhere in the kitchen? Or maybe a circuit breaker has flipped in the "fuse box", as cookers are usually on a different circuit to the rest of the sockets.

    Hi Alun,
I've double checked the fuse board and it's fine, as is the master switch in the kitchen. Someone looked at it earlier and there's power getting down to the hob, just nothing happens from there.
I'll give Neff a shout tomorrow.
    Thanks for the help
