Twain Proxy Issue

    hey there,

    I'm relatively new to Macs so please be patient with me.. Have an issue with a printer driver that I installed and its install a thing called Twain Proxy as its required for the scanner function.

    Only problem is when I go to try and put the Mac into standby mode this app will not allow it and I cant remove it as when I try it says the app is currently being used and cant be removed.

    Need help here as its seriously doing my head in.

    Ive tried the support site for the printer, Xerox and for Mac, support is basically non existent so all help appreciated.
