Advice on how to get published?

    Hi all,
    I'm looking for some advice & hope that some posters here may be able to help me. I recently applied (& failed) for an assistant lecturer's position. My application failed in part to my lack of publications (i.e. I don't have any!). Can anyone offer me any advice on how to get published?

    My background:
    I have a first class honours degree in Business & Marketing and for the past 6 years worked in a B2B sales & marketing roles.

    Work experience is the easiest way to get published.

    If you can free up a couple of weeks offer to make tea in any paper, actually a local would be best, and they will generally throw you at least one opportunity for a byline.

    It will most probably be a small innocuous story but they all count

    what about web site articles ?, do they count i want to add some to my company sites so you could help me, help you, and help each other ;)

    Submit articles to Journals , in whichever field it is you specialise or what have you .

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
