Looking for a new graphics card

Want to get a new card, one which is able to handle this new Photoshop thing where it uses the graphics card to process stuff instead of the CPU, and also one which can handle heavy video editing, playing blurays and the odd bit of gaming.

Bit confused about the likes of ATI's site with the difference betweeen the desktop cards and the workstation cards - surely if a desktop card has 512Mb of GDDR3 memory it can handle stuff like the above?

what's your budget?

this might be useful anyway, as a comparison between the current cards. it's more gaming focused, but i think it would still be helpful

ATI HD4850 should do the trick for you so;)

HD4830 €99 or would be perfect for his needs.
