Just came in, turned on my box to find that rte 1,2 tv3 and tg4, have been replaced by bbc1 london, bbc2 england, itv central (no channel 4 or 5 on 104 105), and bbc 3,4 and itv 2,3 are on 115-119

bbc NI is on 973, channel four is missing from 135

has this happened to anyone else this evening, and how do i change it back?

when i came in the box had obviously reset itself (it was displaying the sky welcome channel instead of the channel i had left it on when leaving the house)

is this just a sky mistake and they'll correct it?

*edit should mention there's no sign of the irish channels on the EPG

Try removing your card, then re-inserting.

Happened me once ages ago, and I just did as byte says. Remove the card, wait a few seconds, and re-insert the card. After a few seconds it goes on its "searching for channel listings" buzz, and Bob is your mother's brother after a minute or 2. If that doesn't work, a call to Sky is probably in order.

    maybe a firmware update?

Is it possible the card was removed and either inserted wrong way round or in wrong slot.

My Panasonic box got a update over last day or so; channels seem correct but now have an annoying autostandby mode.

This is happening to me every few days, happened again thismorning.

    1. Plug out sky box, and leave unplugged for 1 minute
    2. remove card
    3. plug in sky box
    4. turn it on
    5. when it's on and searching for channels, replace the sky card
    Works every tme

    I'm just wondering.
When this happens on sky plus boxes - do you get to record ITV?
What happens to the recording when it resets itself back to RTE on 101 again etc?
Can you record BBC HD on a hd box that this happens to?

    Don't be hasty here!
Happened us a few years back and we just kept it as it was. We had two boxes so kept one Irish and one British. The British one is far better if you mainly watch movies. We only ever used the other telly for Nationwide:)

Turned on the tv today to the same problem/ I rang Sky and they said it was done to crossed signals. They told me to turn everything off and take out my card, wait 2 minutes, turn everything back on and insert card. It worked for me.

If you prefer it then dont do a thing. It should stay like that unless something happens and the box reverts back to the Irish EPG

It reverted back of its own accord, unfortunately. Too bad!

Unlucky. We had our British box for about 3 years straight but it was like that from the day the guy installed it.
