Poor Picture Quality

Since the start up of the DTT transmitter on woodcock hill I have been having problems with poor picture quality.
Current set up is outdoor UHF aerial connected to a 8 way distribution amp. If I bypass the amp and connect directly to the TV the picture is perfect. I have tried a variable attenuator between the aerial and amp - big improvement but far from perfect.

Any ideas to sort this issue?? I'm sure there are alot more people with this issue and can't believe its hasn't been highlighted in the media. Then again I'm probably one of the few still in 4 channel land!
