Are spent hops useful in the garden. I've read they are high in nitrogen and a good mulch material, but also that they are very acidic and can also burn plants. Useful in the compost heap but should I use them on the beds?

If you mean after brewing they can be used as a mulch or composted but beware they are poisonous to dogs and maybe cats

Mine generally go into the brown bin
