i want to buy a game where i can play drums on my own. which one should i go for? i know gh has more songs, but are they worth while for drums alone? rs has less songs, but does it cater more to drums than gh?

    please help.

Afaik, you can't buy just the drums and game. You have to get the full band kit or the solus and buy the drums online

Any word when Rockband 2 is going to be released in Europe for PS3?

Is that for Guitar Hero World Tour? Because I know you can get the drums separate for Rock Star?

According to the Official PlayStation magazine, sometime in 2009 (thanks OPSM, we could have figured that out ourselves)

I have the full band kit for GHWT and the drums are pretty good, better than Rock Band's anyway. The guitar also has a bit more weight to it which is good.

The song list isn't too bad on either, though Rockband definitely has better DLC.

I'm looking to get RB2 once a patch is released to make it compatible with the GHWT drums.

Can you actually buy the rb drums seperatly? JUST the drums, or the drums and the game?

You can't actually buy the drums and game together. You HAVE to buy them separately.

But can you buy the GH drums separately, or do they come with the full band set?

So. All rb periperals are available separtely, but ghwt peripherials are game, game+gutiar, game+all?

Here's a summary of all the Rock Band gear and stuff:

    1) Game
    2) Guitar
    3) Drums
    4) Guitar, Drums and Microphone

You can buy instruments on their own, or together, but either way, you have to buy the game separate.

And, from what I have gathered here, yes, Guitar Hero World Tour comes as:

    1) Game
    2) Game and Guitar
    3) Game, Guitar and Drums (and Microphone?)

Thanks for all the input guys. I've decided to buy Rock Band, because I can buy the drums on their own for that, whereas with Guitar Hero World Tour I would be getting unneeded gear with it. Thanks again.

wheras GHWT might have more songs than RB, there is much more d/l content for rock band. also whenever RB2 comes out, you can export the RB1 songs to your hard drive for use in RB2.

I have RB1 & 2 for 360 and coupled with my DLC i'd say i have around 200 songs now
