Local interest aside, the game of the weekend, and virtually sold out...75,000! Thats right 75,000, not a quarter or a semi..just a pool game. Proof if proof were needed that the Heineken cup is fast becoming as important and attractive as international rugby.

The Quins having a great season, playing some beautiful rugby, while Stade Francais are Stade Francais, expect anything...

    Harlequins

1 CERI JONES 2 TANI FUGA 3 MIKE ROSS 4 JAMES PERCIVAL 5 JIM EVANS
6 CHRIS ROBSHAW 7 WILL SKINNER(CAPTAIN) 8 NICK EASTER 9 DANNY CARE 10 NICK EVANS 11 UGO MONYE 12 JORDAN TURNER- HALL 13 GONZALO TIESI 14 TOM WILLIAMS 15 MIKE BROWN

16 CHRIS BROOKER 17 MARK LAMBERT 18 GEORGE ROBSON 19 TOM GUEST
20 JUNIOR POLU 21 TOSH MASSON 22 CHRIS MALONE

    Stade

Szarzewski, Blin, Roncero, Attoub, Montanella, Marconnet, Marchois, Taylor, Vigouroux, Parisse, Leguizamon, Rabadan, Mau. Bergamasco

Oelshcig, Albouy, Hernandez, Liebenberg, Bastareaud, Bousses, Messina, Glas, Mir. Bergamasco, Gasnier, Saubade, Arias, Camara

Two sides that are playing some really really good rugby, should be a cracker come on Quins!

I've always liked Stade. Mainly because they threaten people's sexuality I reckon. ^^

In fairness, with guys like Hernandez they're always worth watching. Quins are a tad inconsistent I find. Hot and cold all too often in the same match.

Well they are a ridiculously young side which has to be taken into account and in fairness they are finding their feet.

+1. Quins are one of the few (LI and Gloucs being, imo the others) prem teams who've got to grips with the ELV's and play rugby like they enjoy it. I think they might just spoil Stade's big party...seen those can-can girls? Bloody 'ell!

Indeed. Could be frightening in a few years if they keep the team together.

Harlequins not being phased at all by the occasion, SF are like a U-12 team

Good game. Stade looking a lot better the last few minutes though making a fair few mistakes.

edit: hopefully we'll start to see this type of pre game and half-time entertainment more often:pac:

Very close now, looks right good.

One odd thing I've seen(off pitch), but if ya see where they have the advertising for the Final of the cometition, did they actually mispell Edinburgh? Think they have 'm' instead of 'n'. Only noticed in passing, so might have been cause of motion of camera it seems that way.

Message on the screen asking the french fans to be silent for the kicks. Suppose it's to be expected with such a large crowd....... especially in France

Pun? I know twickers is the same but places like Welford Road, Kingsholm and Franklins Gardens have always been respectful.

This is some match, Quins deserve to win this so much

What a game, pure class like the pre match antics it had a thriller end!

Great stuff out of the Quins...could be HC dark horses if they carry that kind of dogged grittiness forward. If they can sort the line out, they'll do damage. Thought Skinner had blown it at the end...not the best game of rugby, but a real thriller...

what a game couldnt believe the reversed pen at the end not sure who it was think it could have been Danny Care, fair play to quins for hanging on in the end they defended very well and soaked up everything stade threw at them.

What did he do exactly? was it backchat?

I think he was rubbing the fact that Quins had won the game being given that penalty straight to Pairsse's face and the Ref turned the penalty against them...really really stupid thing to do especially form the captain.

No clue, thought skinner might have drawn a swipe at a Stade player, ref singled him out.

How good are Care and Easter? Something radically wrong in the England set-up when they play like that for Club but look like shadows of themselves for country.

So many wrong people involved in it, why R.Andrew still has a job aswell as Wells and Ford is truly beyond me.
