    599 + Vat @21% = 725
Had a look on the Richer Sounds site and this tv is 579.99 Sterling. With exchange rate being so good this works out at approx 670 Euro. However collection only in store at present. You could also throw in 5 year warranty for another 67 Euro. You could give the Belfast store a call to confirm availability.

    Cheers,

Is this one definitely in store only?? I think only certain tvs are in store only. They can ship a lot of them down here for 25e

Thanks, thats good to know because i may be looking for a 40v4000. That or a samsung 37a656. The sony has better blacks and is bigger but the samsung would have way better motion and SD processing. Hmmm, decisions decisions...

L-series isn't great though picture wise, IMO. The V-series at the very least is what I'd recommend.

The KDL-40L4000 is the same panel and processing as the 40V4000. Only difference is a different casing finish and one HDMI less.

Thats true but the V series really does look WAY WAY nicer IMO. L series is very cheap looking

Sainsbury's have 40" sony for £587 and they were giving 88p to the € on thurs so that would work out at €667 great bargain i think:D

Anyone know any av stores with one of these setup by any chance?
Or has anyone seen one in action?
Seems like a good deal but Id like a tv with good enough sd processing, specifically sky/freesat and dvd's/divx.. and I can't find a single proper review of this tv

Got one of these in Dublin on Sunday, after Cork ran out. (No, I didn't travel specially!) Corking telly, picture way better than as configured in Musgraves, out of the box. Great deal, thanks to the OP for the tip.
