    alrite lads,

    im a student up in dublin who plays guitar and does a bit of singing, hoping to get a few guys together to form a band.

    been playing guitar for a few years but havent really developed as i would of liked. i think the motivation and encouragement of being in a band would really improve me.

    i play to a decent level mostly rhythm but some lead so hoping to find other musicians of a decent ability, who are fairly easy going and enjoy having the craic to form a band with the aim of gigging on the local student scene and dublin nightlife.

    hoping to form a band consisting of a singer, 2 guitar players, bass player and a drummer. this really is the bare bones of forming a band as i dont have a rehearsing space or equipment. jst hoping to find a few lads with the same mentality as myself so we can take it from there and start practising.

    my influences would include U2, snow patrol, oasis, kings of leon, the killers, goo goo dolls, razorlight, kooks and any modern indie or rock basically. im fairly easy going and will listen to anything though, probably not heavy metal though!

    so if ur intersted in forming a band and play an instrument to a decent level drop us a line. preferably other people in college or of the same age range would be requested, but this is an open invitation and available to any amateur musicians.

    playing live music, having a few beers and a bit of craic is the name of the game lads!!
