Just bought a Nintendo DS Lite (no games or extras) for €108 in Heatons, no less.:D They have it for € 120 (reduced from € 150) but.....
if you have a valid 'Student Card' (ie College ID), you get another 10 % off.;)
    No red DS's available.

    All hail Heatons IMO.

I checked Heatons Finglas & Blanch first thing this morning, no sign of this deal.

OP, where did you get it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 554 ✭✭✭PCDub

Picked one up in Naas today, cheers OP.

That is a good deal all right. I got mine from HMV online for 99 pound with free delivery to a friend in Northern Ireland. Came with a free Brain Training game. Was in the Duty Free in Dublin yesterday and they had it on sale without a game or accessories for 150 euro

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,635 ✭✭✭jenno86

Went into Heaton's in Castlebar today to get the offer but they said that I couldn't get the 10% off because there was already 20% off. Humph!:( Its a good deal anyway. Cheers OP.;)

Starting from € 149 to € 159 (depending where you get it) for the DS lite on its own.

Still €150 in Heatons in Carlow, unfortunately.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,587 ✭✭✭Bob Z

I think this promotion is a mistake. i know someone who bought one and they tried to charge 150 for it. After it was pointed out that the sign said 120 they took down the sign!!(still got it for 120 though)

Dunno if anyone cares, but if you go to china, you can get them for about €90->€100... Generally different colours than are available here too.

And regarding DS and PSP... none of them "rule".. Both of them are awesome, but in different ways. DS good for writy/scribbly games and PSP good for processing power + vids. I have 2 DSs and 3 PSPs and I think they are all awesome. There are certain things on one that you just can't get on the other.
