So I'm in the US and I need to buy a few presents for my nephews and nieces in Galway ages 5-11. I know what I want, some wii games, soccer shirt, hannah montana toys etc and I thought I could get them at amazon.co.uk. But then it comes up with the message " *** We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order by changing its quantity to 0 and clicking the update button below. ( See geographical restrictions.) ***".

I really want to get everything at one site that also does gift wrapping. So I tried Byrnes World of Wonder at buy4now but they dont have everything I want plus they're pricey. Play.com is out of stock of the wii game I want.

    Any other suggestions?

Yes, of course but there are shipping restrictions on some products as well as some customs issues.

With the exception of the wii games you could get what you want from Amazon.com and then ship them over yourself. Double payment on shipping, I know, but if you have chosen items that you particularly want then it looks like your quickest and easiest option, especially this late.

For the wii games you could try play.com? Not sure how competetive they are price wise though.

Customs values have changed recently, I believe, or are about to. Also if you mark the item gift it would help:)

The increased customs limit of €150 is in place since December 1st, but only applies to Duty, and not VAT. Duty accounts for fcuk all usually, so it's practically useless.

Buy from Amazon, then re-ship them here when they arrive. You'll be able to mark them each as gift. If you send all in one parcel, accumulating the value, gift will make no difference, as €45 is that limit. If you declare a false value on it, you could land yourself in trouble, but also if it's insured then you wouldn't be covered if something should happen to it in the post.

Try sendit.com and Asda for games too. They both ship to Ireland.
