Warhawk No.1 without a doubt.

Just checked my stats and I have over 240 hours playing it. Certainly doesn't feel like it. TBH its one of the first online games I've played so that could have alot to do with it, but I still complete other games so 'I can get back to Warhawk' No two games are the same and I still see something new each game, even after all this time. Its got a vicious learning curve and you only appreciate it after investing alot of time.

The one game I wish I played was Colossus because of the way everyone goes on about it. Sounds like a gem.

Resi 4 was a good laugh too.

And even though it has nothing to do with PS I have to say the summers I spent competing with my mates to shave hundreds of a second off ghost valley on Mario Cart was time well spent.

• SMT: Persona 3: FES -- until Persona 4 hits, this is, without doubt, the best RPG on the PS2.
• Shadow of the Colossus -- cannot beat this for vision.
• Virtua Fighter 4:Evolution -- while not better than SF3:3S, this is simply the best fighter port ever -- the incredible training mode is just the preparation for some of the best fighting AIs of any generation.

Oh you young 'uns.... There is nothing more satisfying than the cheesy multiple-jetpack trick to hurt your opponent and then a stick of dynamite at their feet for the finale. Considering this is "all time top 3" I would have expected to see some older games in there...

1:GTA 3 (the game was great,add to it the fact anyone who had gta always wanted a 3D version.when it came out it was unbelievable.gta2 is my least favourite of the series by a long way.good cases can be made for all the others though.)

2:CoD modern warfare (online gameplay was so addictive,even if the american nerds were annoying)

3: pro evo 5 (helped me fail first year in college.cause of many arguements.never a dull moment when theres a pro n the house)

"Of all time" as long as it's on a Playstation. I was playing on the PC back when the PS1 was out, so didn't get my first console until the PS2. So nothing pre-2000 on my PS list :pac:

My multi-format "of all time" list might go:

1. Syndicate (1993)
2. Dune 2 (1992)
3. Snare (1989)

The first few video games you play are never quite bettered somehow.

They're all about mood. Action wise, quite simple games. But the scenery, level design, art design, audio... stunning stuff, especially considering the limitations of the tech.

PS1 - Aliens (dated now but addictive as hell way back when)

PS2 - The Thing
Survival horror 3rd person shooter based on the cult film. Game went on for ages so you really got your money's worth. No one would be classing this game as a weekender or a renter as you'd barely scratch the surface of this game by playing it for less than a week. Modern PS3 games that last about 8 hours could learn a lot from this brilliant game.

PS3 - Uncharted as the best all rounder with humour, action, storyline and bit of horror thrown in.

Honorable mentions go to COD4, Deadspace and Resistance 2 (ps3) Medal of Honor Frontline (ps2), Half Life (ps2) and GTA3 (ps2).
