    I saw a thread an hour or so ago, which stated that hosting365 was down (and therefore, so were the sites hosted in their data center), yet now I see that it no longer exists

    Out of interest, whats the reasoning behind deleting threads like that?

    It stems back from some time ago when hosting discussion ended in bitchfests between hosters. Therefore they couldn't play nice so hosting talk is not allowed.

    Yep - hence the closure of the web hosting forum...
